Talking about OunoSpeak

With OunoSpeak, a phone number can be hidden behind an i-Name. So you're calling a name instead of a number. With OunoContext you can choose any name you want with the number. Or you have a a randomly generated name using Shortxri.net.

Use i-Names to start and receive phone calls. You can use an i-Name as a throw-away or one-time use contact number, where you can allow people to contact you over, then remove the i-Name from service.

How to Use OunoSpeak

To Make a Phone Call by Text Message

  1. Assign the text to number 41-411
  2. Type the keyword "ouno"
  3. Type the i-Name you would like to call.
  4. Hit the "Send" button on your phone.
  5. You will receive a call back, then be connected.

For example, to call the i-Name =example you would text the following to 41-411:

ouno =example

To Make a Phone Call by Land Line (or Non-Text on a Mobile Phone)

  1. Call the toll-free number 1-866-979-OUNO(6866)
  2. At the prompt say the i-Name you would like to call
  3. You will then be connected.

For example, to call the i-Name =example you would call 1-866-979-6866 and say:

To Make a Phone Call by Mobile Internet

  1. On you phone browse to http://m.ouno.com
  2. Type the i-Name you would like to call in the text field.
  3. Press "find" to search for the i-Name --If an i-Name is public you will be prompted to initate a phone call from your mobile phone.

  4. If you have verified the phone via SMS then press "Call" to be connected.
